Free after-school sessions for the SAT exam

11^th grade students are encouraged to participate in free after-school sessions here at McBride to help them prepare for the SAT exam. Sessions start the week of February 5^th

Research indicates that students who take part in focused preparation for the SAT achieve higher scores. Our preparation sessions, which balance classroom work with the use of Khan Academy, are intensive and comprehensive: we seek to help students recognize the different types of questions they will see on the exam and apply test-taking strategies to those questions. Students will also have the option to take two practice exams, one on Saturday, March 10^th and another on Saturday, March 17^th before the in-school testing date on March 21st. These practice exams will take place from 830am-1pm in the upper B vestibule.
